I'm using a couple of multi-timbral modules to layer sounds on top of the T3. Controlling the program between the T3 and the other modules for live play just doesn't align well, but in the MT units I have the ability to assign any of the 16 timbres to any MIDI channel. If the T3 would allow MIDI out channel selection by patch, I could link different timbres or even different synthesizers to distinct T3 patches. Ability to send to multiple channels by patch would be even better, but even the selection of one patch specific channel would add another dimension to the MIDI mapping potential.

Not sure if that is beyond the hardware capabilities, but it would obviously mean changes to the menu within a specific patch.
